"Bistro Lyonnaise was the best meal my wife and i had out of many great meals we had on our 6 week trip to france. We spent a hot day at Disney land on our last full day in Paris, only getting back to our hotel by train at 930pm. We decided to go out just the two of us for one final meal together. The lovely waitress was kind enough to seat us so late, and we were served really fast. We had the baked egg with salmon for a shared entree, and it was amazing. We had the steak frites with pepper sauce and the duck confit with fondant potatoes, and they were both perfect . I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant, especially being just a short walk from Gare de lyon. Thank you to all the staff of Bistro Lyonnais."
"Super French bistro very close to the Gare de Lyon station. Lovely staff and highly recommended. We went back twice in two nights . Cheesecake is a highlight"
"Had a great experience at Le Bistro Lyonnais! The service was excellent, that’s the main thing for me when dining out. The entrecôte was super tasty with an amazing sauce, the suprême de volaille was really good, and the Fontainebleau dessert was to die for. Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend if you’re near Gare de Lyon!"
"We had the scardot, a cheese selection, bavette, and the fish of the day. The cheese was not great, with a rather boring selection. The bavette had good flavor but did not come medium well as requested and was very chewy. The fish of the day was fine. The lettuce in the salads was brown. On the positive side, the chocolate mousse was excellent. The server who helped us was friendly and efficient, which definitely improved the experience."
"What a warm and welcoming restaurant! From the moment we were greeted until we said au revoir, we felt so comfortable here. We were seated in a perfect spot and our server was very helpful. Because I have certain dietary restrictions, I asked about modifying a chicken dish on the menu. Our server was accommodating and brought out such a tasty meal for me. My husband had the goat cheese salad and loved it. Clean plate! Although we were both full, we were tempted by the desserts, especially the homemade chocolate mousse. It was delicious. When we first walked in, the place was quiet. Just one or two other occupied tables. By the time we left, the place was packed, but the service was still efficient and excellent. There's a reason they had so many customers! I hope to return and enjoy their kind hospitality soon."
"Great dishes. The meats (chicken and braised beef) were cooked perfectly. Polite and friendly service. Reasonable prices. Pleasant environment."
"Excellent service and a traditional, perfect menu. The food was just what we needed on a cold winter’s evening, and we enjoyed our dinner here much more than the following evening at Le Train Bleu"
"A very pleasant, relaxing, and charming atmosphere, excellent service, friendly people, and great prices. I would gladly come back and highly recommend this place!"
